Apply to join GRN
Sign in with your work email. We send a one-time code every time, so there’s no password to remember, and your answers are saved as you go.

Your organisation
We check these details against the official register for your country.
You’re using a personal email address. That’s fine, and small organisations without a domain often do. We’ll note it for the reviewer.
You chose “Other”, so a reviewer will decide which register and evidence apply. Carry on and we’ll be in touch if we need more.
The data you need
Your answers set your level. The more refugee data you need, the more we check. Refugees always choose whether to share their data with you.
Your level
A reviewer can raise your level, and will tell you why.
Answer the first question, and the data questions that follow, to see your level.
The GRN Principles
Read each principle and tick the commitment beneath it. We keep a dated record of each tick and the version you affirmed.
Free access to candidates
Candidate access to GRN is free and cannot be subject to a fee.
Community resource
GRN is a shared community resource. It is not owned by any organisation.
The GRN software code is open source and fully visible to anyone who wishes to see it, or contribute to it.
Stakeholders are encouraged to support the ongoing development and running costs of GRN.
Inclusive user engagement
Refugees and all key user groups will be encouraged to engage in the design, governance and evolution of GRN. Mechanisms will be established so that their perspectives play a direct role in shaping priorities.
Privacy and confidentiality
Candidates own and directly control their data by updating or deleting it at any time.
Source partners are responsible for managing and protecting candidate data.
Personal and contact data may be shared only as needed and as confirmed by each candidate. For example, such data may be shared with employers only in the final stages of a recruitment process, or with migration agents at the time of applying for visas.
Anonymised data about skills, qualifications, experience and aspirations may be shared with commercial and charitable organisations that need these skills, or that work to improve outcomes for refugees.
Data security
GRN upholds the highest standards of data security. Systems and up-to-date practices must be adopted to prevent unauthorised access, maintain data integrity and protect against data loss.
Maximise opportunity
GRN should maximise the opportunities available to each candidate to improve their situation.
All opportunities, such as jobs, are visible to all partners and therefore potentially available to all candidates.
Only the candidate can decide which opportunities they will focus on. Their opportunities should not be artificially restricted.
Additionality
The primary goal of GRN is to help more refugees in total. GRN cannot be used to trade off one group of refugees against another by, for example, increasing skills-based resettlement at the expense of humanitarian resettlement. This is the principle of additionality.
Questions for your level
